About the Role: Lead Infant Teacher (6 Weeks - 18 Months)

As our Lead Infant Teacher, you will be the heart of the classroom, setting the tone for a nurturing, responsive, and engaging Montessori environment for our youngest learners. You will collaborate with fellow teachers, families, and leadership to provide an exceptional early childhood experience.

You will have strong classroom management skills, a deep understanding of Montessori principles, and the ability to create an individualized, responsive environment that fosters independence and development.

Reporting to: Center Director
Supervises: Assistant Teacher

Foster an individualized, responsive Montessori environment where infants feel safe, secure, and inspired to explore
Create and maintain a safe, well-prepared environment that encourages curiosity and independence
Partner with families to meet the unique needs of each child and support their growth
Collaborate and engage with fellow educators and stakeholders to ensure program success
Develop high-quality lessons that nurture all areas of child development
Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and a growth mindset

Qualifications:

AMS or AMI diploma holder in 0-3 (Infant/Toddler)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field

3+ years of experience as a Lead Teacher in a similar age group

Committed to academic year employment, plus two weeks in summer
